About UsSince 1916‚ Wood’s Floral and Gifts has been a part of Fond du Lac and the surrounding community. Throughout our history we have been a family-owned business.
In 1975 Ray Wood’s daughter‚ Doris Wood Piehl‚ retired and sold the business to Eugene Berg. He had been a part of the Wood’s Floral family since 1952. In the same way‚ when Eugene Berg retired‚ he turned the store over to Rick Bode‚ who’d began designing arrangements for Woods Floral in 1969. In 1993‚ Rick partnered with Dave Buechel to continue the Wood’s Floral tradition.
Although the store has been passed on throughout the years‚ one thing has remained constant. It has always been built on a love of growing and nurturing. As a family business‚ we know that with every customer we serve‚ our personal reputation is on the line.
Rick and Dave pride themselves on providing specialized, personal service. Whether designing a single arrangement‚ decorating for a special event or providing in-home design services‚ Wood’s Floral looks to individualize and provide solutions specific to the customers… and just as unique. |
